It is a very precious day because it is guru purnima. In the time when Lord Vishnu is sleeping the Guru is taking care of you. So it is the day for worshipping your guru, whome you feel like guru. A guru is someone who can bring you from darkness to light – “Gu “means darkness and “Ru” means light. This day vyash was born – he is the writer of the four vedas and 18 puranas. According to vedviasa only brahmins can be a guru because their carma is now so good that they have the knowledge and power to giude you from shadow to light. So try to find a brahmin guru, a person who can give you light inside and outside.
